Writing these letters bring me joy as the responses I get from people show that I am really addressing issues that a lot of people face.

Yesterday’s letter created a thread of replies and I am still going through them to reply the comments and answer the questions to the best of my ability.

I started learning a new skill yesterday and it has been exciting so far and I feel like a child learning how to walk. Learning a skill has always been the surest way to grow your income.

I will be sharing the process that led to that and how I am allocating time to it in the new Makers group that I am creating.

Enough said, lets move to the message of the day, it is something that a lot of people struggle with and I would love to spell the process out so that you know what to focus on.

1) You Must Attract Attention: You have no income future online if people don’t know that you are there. There are a lot of people who repeatedly fail to bring attention to what they do because they fail to draw attention to themselves.

Where are the places that I can drive attention to myself ?

This means that your Facebook friends, your WhatsApp status viewers, people in groups that you are part of should know what you do.

I have had people in WhatsApp groups that I am a part of reach out and pay me for my consultation advice on topics that I have knowledge about.

2) You Must Know The Needs of People: This is why talking about what you do or marketing your knowledge is important. When you talk actively and consistently on a particular topic or topics you would get Interaction from people who need help in these areas.

Your interaction with them will help you know what they want and it would be easy for you to sell a solution to them.

If you shy about what you do or know then you will never make money online.

Some people are experts at posting memes and jokes on their status but when the time comes to talk about helpful topics they become shy and overthink it.

Knowing the needs of people would also help you understand the group of people that needs your products.

3) You Must Stick To What You Know: It is very important that you stick to the things that you have knowledge about.

Many people leave their area of expertise an talk about things they have no business talking about or try things that they have no business doing.

I will do a thread on my WhatsApp Status this afternoon on the best practice when it comes to creating any form of online content.

4) You Must Define Problems You Can Solve : people need to be aware of your difference, as You Interact with them let them know the solutions that you have to offer.

So as you learn skills and build specific knowledge in a certain area, make sure that you are informing people of the problems that you can solve.

5) You Must Learn How To Listen: the internet is filled with people and every single day they talk about the things that they need help with and also the things that matters to them.

When you listen and know what people really care about then it could be easy to connect with them.

Don’t spend all day talking and not caring about what people are saying. Don’t focus on you think people need, focus on what they want.

Meeting Wants not Needs is the fastest way to bring value to people.

Many people struggle with selling online, but when you take note and work on these five things, then selling becomes easy.

Making money online isn’t rocket science, you just need to follow the right process.
